Question 1

What is Bench Cricket (Hand Cricket / Book Cricket)?

Accepted Answer

Bench Cricket is the digital recreation of the beloved classroom backbench game played with fingers and notebook diaries. During free periods, students flashed fingers under the desk to score runs and take wickets without making a sound.

Question 2

What are the legal numbers, and why is 5 forbidden?

Accepted Answer

The permitted numbers are 1, 2, 3, 4, and 6. By sacred school backbench rule, 5 is strictly illegal and banned, representing the classic cricket rule that there are no 5-run boundary shots in traditional street and hand cricket.

Question 3

How do wickets work in Benchicket?

Accepted Answer

A wicket falls (HOWZAT!) whenever both the batsman and the bowler choose the exact same number on the same ball (for example, both show 4 or both show 6). If the numbers differ, the batsman safely scores whatever run number they selected.

Question 4

Is the AI Bot 100% fair or does it peek at my selections?

Accepted Answer

BENCHICKET guarantees 100% cryptographic fair play. Both choices are locked simultaneously. The AI algorithm generates its number based purely on difficulty probabilities without ever peeking or inspecting your choice beforehand.

Question 5

Can I play Benchicket on mobile without downloading an app?

Accepted Answer

Yes! BENCHICKET is built with responsive mobile-first technology. It runs directly in Chrome, Safari, Edge, and Samsung Internet with tactile touch controls, vibration haptics, and zero downloads required.

Question 6

Is BENCHICKET completely free to play?

Accepted Answer

Yes, 100% free forever. There are no paywalls, no energy meters, and no microtransactions. Just pure school nostalgia, numbers, and memories.
